BCAMFCAAATC Opening (and Subsequent Closing)

(a “no fuss” rendering of BCAMFCAAATC)

There is a new museum in town. But only for two days.

This Saturday marks the grand opening of the Boston Contemporary Art Museum for Contemporary Art, Artists, and Their Contemporaries (BCAMFCAAATC) in Christopher Columbus Park as a part of the Boston Arts Festival.

..and then it will shutter its doors forever on Sunday.

While in business as a thriving arts institution, the museum’s director Pat Falco has programmed the 60 sq ft space to include the work of over 30 local artists and collaborators.

Film screenings and performances on August 30th, closing reception on August 31st.

When: August 30th-31st, 2014 | Full schedule here

Where: Christopher Columbus Park, 200 Atlantic Ave, Boston, Massachusetts MA

How: Official Website

Cost: Free

What/Why: “Boston Contemporary Art Museum For Contemporary Art, Artists, And Their Contemporaries is a contemporary art museum for Boston contemporary art, artists, and their contemporaries.”

But seriously, BCAMFCAAATC will be packed to the gills with talent. Don’t miss it!
