Recent links and the likes I have been meaning to share. Enjoy!
1.1.) Pentax Nanoblocks Camera
“Pentax is coming out with a new 14 megapixel digital camera this fall that allows you to create Lego-style art on its surface using ‘nanoblocks.’ The model number is Optio NB1000, and the release date is slated for mid-October.”
I can’t wait to buy this and then have little broken lego pieces scattered around my purse. “No, really-It once was a miniature replica of the Last Supper! I think Jesus is rattling around in here somewhere…-sifts furiously through bag-“

2.)Literary Rings by Littlefly
‘The Brides Fate’
‘Learning to Live’
‘Dictionary Greek/English’
“Paper is many things: a carrier of text, illustration, history and emotion.
Jeremy May has captured the beauty of paper via a unique laminating process. Littlefly jewellery is made by laminating hundreds sheets of paper together, then carefully finishing to a high gloss. The paper is selected and carefully removed from a book, and the jewellery re-inserted in the excavated space.
Each piece is impossible to replicate, and is unique to the wearer. The beauty of the jewels extends within the piece: text and images pass all the way though the object, only exposed at the surfaces – giving a tantalising glimpse of the book within.”
There are no prices on the Littlefly site. which make$ me wary, but what a great gift! Want. Very cool.

5.)Light Drawings with iPads
Dentsu London, a creative communications agency, collaborated with BERG to visualize their “Making Future Magic” strategy in a movie. They decided to make a stop motion animation with light drawings made with an iPad.
Glad to see people have found uses for iPads other than uploading youtubes of their corgis and kittens playing around with this expensive “must-have”.
