Matty Cipov is a very talented artist from Milwaukee, Wisconsin I found a few years ago while browsing on etsy. His work is extremely creative and his M.O. seems to be nondescript humanoid forms wearing elaborate creature masks. And more recently, zombies. Clearly a natural progression.
And what I also like about Matty is that he doesn’t seem to take himself too seriously(love his “hand stamped embellishments”). Since I first contacted him in 2006, I have purchased several prints, discussed projects, and had him do a commission piece for my bosom buddy who has a penchant for daschunds(submitted her doxie, Schpotzy as a model), and Godzilla..

He was a pleasure to work with, got it jammed out and sent over before her birthday and she adores it.
He is super affordable and have picked up so many of his prints because many of them are $6. No joke. There is nothing currently in his etsy store that is selling for over $30. He also manages to sneak in a few stickers/sketches/postcards with his packages, so be sure to check him out!
