After a blood, sweat, and beers 3 day weekend, the FLUX. Offline show is now up at Voltage!

(pre-gaming with an ‘Atticus Finch’)
This process has allowed to me to have a taste of what its like to be a full-time curator/gallery owner, and it is no joke.
Any and everything can and will happen, but I have been loving every minute of it.*
*Except for putting up those hoity-toity gallery letter decals. I want those 45 minutes of my life back.
(Team effort hanging the work of Jakob Fioole, with Jen Lewis‘s pieces on deck)
The show looks amazing.
And I owe serious thanks to Ross Foniri(and his MANY runs to Home Depot for supplies), Anna Schindelar, Brian and Lisa Daly, and Jess Liggero for all their help with getting the show in check and humoring me as I dashed around with cellphone, hammer, decal, and coffee in hand.

Friday–
The ladies of North End Fish Market have graciously offered to donate some fresh sushi and shrimp cocktail for the reception.
Jack’s Abby Brewing in Framingham will be providing some of their finest beers.
Charles Shaw and assorted baking failures from my kitchen will also be present.
Tunes provided by DM Stroh of Alfonso Alrura‘s ipod.
Event photos by Rewan Al-Haddad, Amanda Antunes of d.Ama Design & Spirited Magazine, Greg Parker of Covetous Creatures, and ___YOU___(?)
If you have a camera collecting dust and are itching for the opportunity to legally creep people, your photog skills would be much appreciated at the event and I can pay you in animated gifs and post-show praise.

Before I go — Artist Scott Listfield did a very nice write-up for the show on his blog. Check it out!
